The Assignment

Topper’s Pizza has been a mainstay on the pizza scene in Ontario, Canada for over 30 years and has garnered its fair share of loyal customers. However, an out-of-date consumer website was holding Topper’s back from competing with the bigger pizza chains. Conversely, their franchise system growth was in a lull, without any real focus on who their ideal candidates were or how to qualify them.

The Solution

After helping to secure relationships with third party vendors in online ordering and email marketing, we set out to implement Topper’s new consumer branding (which we also created) into the website. The site is now eye-catching, interactive and, best of all, the desired actions are crystal clear to the user, with a special focus on driving online ordering.

The franchise website received a complete overhaul, including creation of a virtual brochure and implementation of virtual spokespeople to guide candidates through the process. The intent is to keep candidates engaged as they essentially self-qualify themselves for the Topper’s Pizza franchise opportunity.
